Jackie has been practicing as a Registered Nurse for 15 years. At Nagy Family Dental Group she assists with IV Sedation procedures. She also works with Dr. Nagy in our new facial esthetics division, RejuveNaj. Procedures and treatments include Botox, Microneedling, Skin Care and Derm Fillers.
When she is not at working, Jackie says, “I’m completely absorbed in the life of my wild and chaotic family—Paul, Nolan, Jack, Aubrey and Austin! We love spending time together as a family, especially outdoor activities. We enjoy hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and camping. The best is cheering each other on in sporting events and celebrating each other’s accomplishments!”
Gretchen is technically the operations manager of the Nagy Family Dental Group. She works behind the scenes to ensure that the practice is running smoothly. She touches every area of the business from hiring and onboarding, to ongoing HR issues, to special projects, patient PR and helping implement leadership’s objectives.
Gretchen and her husband have been married for 30 years and have three adult children who are all married and four grandchildren. And if that weren’t enough activity, two rescue dogs—Oakley and Amos! She also enjoys genealogy and collecting vintage glass. She shares that, “My faith in Christ is the most important thing in my life. We are very involved in our church as well as our family.”
Phyllis is the lead Dental Hygienist at Nagy Family Dental Group. She has 42 of dental practice experience, 18 years as a dental assistant and 24 years as a dental hygienist. Many of those years have been with Dr. Nagy. Phyllis greets and welcomes each of her patients and makes them feel comfortable for their cleaning. She takes x-rays, explains treatment needs and homecare instructions.
Phyllis lives with her pooch, Lloyd Dobbler. She says, “My faith in God is very important to me and a guiding light in my whole life.” She also shares that her family is her hobby. Phyllis spends as much time as possible with her six adorable grandchildren, and loves their company.
Rhonda has 40 years of overall dental experience. Her role at Nagy Family Dental Group is an EFDA (Expanded Functions Dental Assistant). As an EFDA, she has advanced training and education to perform more advanced duties, such as applying sealants, taking impressions, performing coronal polishing, applying topical anesthetic or applying topical fluoride, to name just a few. Rhonda enjoys helping her patients achieve a healthy and beautiful smile!
When Rhonda is not creating beautiful smiles, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and reading a good book. She shares that, “I also love walking my dog, playing golf and watching Cleveland Guardians games.”
Destiney is another EFDA that brings many years of experience to the Nagy Family Dental Group practice. For more than 20 years she has been helping patients achieve and maintain their desired smiles! She enjoys greeting each patient and shows interest in each one. Her EFDA duties are performed under our dentists' supervision—taking final impressions for permanent indirect restorations, adjusting and cementing permanent indirect restorations, and more.
Outside of work, Destiney enjoys spending family time with her three daughters. She loves being active outside, especially doing her gardening—red flowers are her favorite! Destiney says, “What I love best about being outside is getting lots of sunshine.”
As a Clinical Assistant, Alissa has numerous responsibilities, including preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments and the materials needed for treatment procedures. She also gets patients ready for their dental treatments by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
Alissa shares why she began her dental career, “I’m inspired and encouraged in my dental work by my mother who has been working in dentistry for more than two decades. I respect her and want to follow her example.”
When she is not working, Alissa spends time in her classes and studying. In her free time, she enjoys spending time playing with her cat and drawing.
Natali joined the Nagy Team as a Clinical Assistant. She spends her time preparing the treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments and making sure all the needed materials for are ready and in place for each procedure. She also welcomes patients and gets them ready for their treatment. Additionally, she assists our dentists during patient procedures by positioning instruments for the dentist’s access as well as passing instruments to the dentist and suctioning patients as needed.
Natali loves spending time with her family, seven siblings and friends when she is not at work. She is a student at Lorain County Community College. When she’s not in classes and studying, Natali says, “I love all sports but especially playing and watching softball.”
Judy has worked in the field of dentistry since 2003, bringing valuable experience to the Nagy Family Dental Group. Her role is to manage patients’ dental healthcare and treatment needs, including interfacing with insurance plans and companies to ensure they receive the correct coverage. Additionally, she helps with communication between patients and their dentist. Judy says, “I’m here to help educate and develop patients’ goals and monitor their progress to achieve and maintain a healthy smile!”
Judy was born and raised in Amherst, Ohio. She lived in Texas for 40 years, where her two sons still live. During her free time, she enjoys many activities, especially outdoors including bike riding, hiking, kayaking and camping.
